A delegation of ICSB led by its President, Mr. Mohammad Shahajahan FCS called on Mr. Khandakar Abdul Muktadir MP, Hon’ble Minister, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Textiles and Jute, and Ministry of Industries, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh on 27 September 2026.

On behalf of the delegation, the President introduced the delegates to the Minister and apprised him of various activities that ICSB undertook for professional development as well as its future plans. 

The ICSB delegation sought the support and cooperation of the Minister for the future development and advancement of the Chartered Secretary profession in Bangladesh. 

The Minister gave a patient hearing and assured the visiting ICSB Team of his best possible support and cooperation for the Institute. 

The ICSB delegation thanked the Minister for giving his valuable time and hoped that his continued support and guidance will help the Institute to move forward to achieve its objectives. 

Senior Vice President Mr. Md. Rafiqul Islam FCS; Council Member Mr. Mohammad Abdullah Al Mamun FCS; Council Member Mr. Khondakar Nasir Uddin Mahmud FCS; Secretary and Chief Executive Officer Mr. Md. Shabbirul Alam Chowdhury were present at the meeting.
